When you can only keep busy indoors, it's essential to capture children's attention while stimulating their creativity and motor skills. To avoid boredom and screens all day long, here are five fun and easy ideas to keep your children occupied in the apartment.

#1 - A dance session for children

Movement is essential, even indoors! Offer your children a yoga session adapted to the little ones, with animal-inspired postures. Put on some music and organize a mini-boom with their favorite songs and some dimmed lights for a festive atmosphere. You can also try a blind test or create a team song battle with the older children. It's up to you to come up with the wackiest challenges: singing while clenching a pencil between your teeth, singing on one foot... All in all, a great way to have fun in the apartment and keep the beat!

💡"How about turning off the sound?" The sound of the music, of course! With just a few simple ingredients, you can offer them two fascinating activities:

- Safe, homemade slime made from food ingredients only. Heat 180g of marshmallows in the microwave to melt, then mix. You can now add food coloring and mix again. Continue by adding cornstarch and kneading. Finish by gradually adding the rest of the cornstarch (100g in total). Knead for a good ten minutes until the dough is sufficiently consistent and extensible. The resulting dough is less sticky than that sold on the market, but your child can knead it without risk. An ideal sensory experience for curious little ones!

- Lava lamp with vegetable oil (⅔) and water (1/3), food coloring and an effervescent tablet (aspirin type). Pour the oil into a jar or vase until ⅔ full. Add water and observe. Then add a few drops of food coloring. The dye doesn't mix and settles at the base of the oil. Then throw an effervescent tablet into the bottle and observe the reaction.

Simple, fun experiments to keep kids busy while stimulating their scientific curiosity!

With a little imagination, days at home can become real adventures!
