Step n°1

Apply purple pencil

Use a purple jumbo pencil to outline the butterfly's wings. Start by drawing a symmetrical shape on each side of the face, starting at the bridge of the nose, moving up to the forehead and continuing across the cheeks. Next, draw the butterfly's body in the center of the forehead, and don't forget the antennae.

Step n°2

Color the butterfly

Use a fine brush. Moisten it and pick up some white face paint. Apply to the inner areas of the wings, at eye level. Start at the inner corner and work outwards. Rinse brush and pick up pink face paint. Fill in the rest of the wings, remembering to blend the two colors to create a gradient. With a purple jumbo pencil, add grooves by drawing lines from the outer edge of the wings inwards.

Step n°3

Finalize makeup

Use a fine brush. Moisten it and pick up some white face paint. Brush over the butterfly's body and antennae to create relief. Draw two white lines on each side of the nose, from the bottom of the butterfly's body to the nasolabial folds. Again with the white face paint, iron over the grooves. Draw three white dots under the eyes. Apply Framboise lip balm to make lips shine.
