Halloween is just around the corner... pumpkins, costumes and candy are already out! But for children, there's nothing like make-up that will make them shiver... while respecting their fragile skin. For parents, one question always comes up: how do you combine fun and safety? With Namaki, a pioneer in organic and natural make-up for children, and Ouate, the first skincare brand dedicated to kids aged 4 and over, the answer is obvious. This year, the two brands have teamed up to bring you a creative and reassuring Halloween. On the program: three terribly easy Halloween make-ups to be created in no more than 4 steps. And don't forget the gentle Ouate skincare routine to cleanse little monsters' skin after the party.
Spider make-up: the easy scary look
Simple steps to spider make-up
You don't need to be a pro to pull off this Halloween spider makeup. With Namaki's devil and spider make-up palette, in just three steps, the spider is on its web:
- Using a fine, dampened brush, pick up some white blush and trace the canvas: first three strokes from the top of the forehead, meeting between the two eyebrows, then two horizontal strokes from the end of the previous strokes. The result is two triangles. Finally, on each side of the face, draw two lines from the end of the triangles down to the middle of the cheeks.
- From this base, draw lines inside the triangles on the cheeks to complete the spider's web.
- Now draw the spiders. To do this, rinse the brush to use the black blush. Draw two circles to form the spider's head and body, and add legs.

💡 Parent tip: if the child moves around a lot and gets impatient, focus solely on a spider web under the eye: guaranteed effect in 2 minutes flat!
Final rendering
In no time at all, you'll have a spectacular look that appeals to young and old alike. And don't worry: Namaki make-up can be easily removed with a mild product suitable for children's skin. Read on to find out more...
Skeleton make-up: the wow effect without losing your head
Step-by-step skeleton makeup
The skeleton, the star of Halloween costumes, is easily adapted to the Namaki range. Here's a simplified version of this must-have:
- Apply white blush all over the face. To do this, use a thick brush and dampen it. Spread the blush evenly, avoiding the eye area.
- Using the finer brush, apply black blush to the eye contour and eyelids. Still in black, draw and fill in the shape of a skeleton nose on the nose.
- To finalize make-up, draw a black stripe down the face, following the chin line. Color the lips black (mouth closed, it's easier) and extend the line from each end of the lips. Finally, draw small vertical lines on this lip line and on the lips to create the skeleton jaw.
💡Express tip: for an even scarier effect, apply makeup to only half the face. Save time and look even more original!
The result

With this make-up, your child will have a terrifying look... but without any skin-harming products. And if it's already too simple for you, why not try the skeleton make-up intermediate level ?
Devil make-up: red, mischievous and terribly effective
Four simple steps to devilish make-up
Looking for an express make-up look that really makes an impact? Devil make-up is perfect for little monsters who want to make a splash. Follow these four steps, using the same palette as for spider make-up and the 3-brush kit:
- Tint the entire face with red blush using the thick, moistened brush. Avoid the eye area.
- Using a finer brush and black blush, draw broad eyebrows and moustaches. For the goatee, draw a small triangle, top down, then fill in with black blush.
- After rinsing the brush, apply the grey blush in a thick line on each side of the face, from the middle of the cheek to the bottom of the lips.
- All that's left is to draw the little horns: a small triangle above each eyebrow will do the trick. Fill in the triangles with white blush and the little demon is ready!
The final look
A make-up look that's both fun and scary, perfect for those in a hurry. If your child prefers a softer look, stick to red and black around the eyes. It's less scary, but just as festive and even quicker. You can also leave out the horns if your costume includes a headband with horns!
💡Bonus: this makeup holds up well to little hands that rub and cleans up gently after the party.
