Mexican Skeleton step-by-step makeup tutorial
Step 1
Apply white blush
Use a thick brush. Moisten the brush. Pick up some white blush. Draw two large circles around the eyes and paint the entire face. Clean brush.
Step 2
Diminishing eye contours
Use the Jumbo-size turquoise make-up pencil to fill in the inner half of the eye contour. Fill in the other half of the eye contour with the Jumbo-size blue make-up pencil. Blend with your finger to create a subtle gradient between the two areas.
step 3
Drawing forehead motifs
Using the turquoise and blue make-up pencils (jumbo size), draw 3 symmetrical diamonds on the forehead. With the green pencil (jumbo size) and the blue pencil (thin size), trace leaf motifs on each side of the forehead, alternating colors.
Step 4
Enhancing contours and tracing ornaments
Use a fine brush. Moisten the brush. Pick up some black blush. Outline forehead motifs and eye circles. Add ornamental droplets around the eyes. Draw a U-shape on the tip of the nose. Add scrolls and dots on the cheeks and chin.
step 5
Tracing the mouth
Still using the fine brush and black blush, draw a horizontal line on each side of the mouth and vertical lines on the lips to imitate a stitched smile.
step n°6
Final touches of color
Using a fine yellow pencil and a turquoise pencil, add a few outlines to the ornaments to enhance them.
And that's it, the Calavera makeup is done, perfect for a colorful and scary Halloween costume!
